After a 2-0 loss in favor of the College of Our Lady of Perpetual Help on the lawns of the park Louis Déjoie to Meyer, players and other members of the Church took the initiative to clean the playground of the school. In an interview with Haitilibre, Jean Pierre Antonius, the President [branch of Jacmel] of the Church of Jesus of Latter-day Saints, declared that this approach was to keep the school clean and allow schoolchildren breathe air healthier "we have already organized such activities through some streets of Jacmel and the impact is positive" adding that this citizen action, should raise awareness of our compatriots to build on this momentum. "The city of Jacmel in the past, was renowned for its cleanliness and now we are witnessing a city which floundered in the unsanitary." Antonius strongly appeals the the people of Jacmel to demonstrate good citizenship and to unite to save the reputation of the city of Alcibiade Pommayrac, that it had in the past. For his part, Pétiote Joseph, the Director of the College of Our Lady of Perpetual Help has welcomed the initiative taken by this group of young, while hoping that this activity will affects many more schools in the region. "We will trigger a series of awareness among students, to follow the example of these young" Note that since the last election that enabled Edwin Zenny, the former mayor of the town of Jacmel, to be elected to the Senate, the municipal cartel is reduced of a member. This has enormous consequences on the functioning of the municipality and the town of Jacmel which turned into a real trash. Garbage of all kinds invade several streets of the city. Meanwhile, Ronald Andris, Deputy Mayor of the town, always speaks of lack of funds.
