The central office of the OAVCT burned

Friday March 1st, 2024, heavily armed individuals set fire to the premises of the central office of the Office of Vehicle Insurance Against Third Parties (OAVCT) located in Tabarre not far from the American Embassy. The flames ravaged the regional office and operations departments, the IT department, the medical service and the cash register. The damage toll would be very significant.

Mexican Embassy closed

The General Hospital dysfunctional

The hospital of the State University of Haiti (HUEH) (general hospital) is dysfunctional, revealed Saturday March 2 Jude Milcé, the Director of the hospital center "[...] The hospital has been close to abandonment since on February 29 due to clashes between bandits and the police.
