Tuesday March 5, 202, Frantz Elbé the Commander-in-Chief of the National Police of Haiti (PNH) accompanied by heavily armed police officers, delivered a message to the population in which he saluted "[...] the courage of our valiant police officers, men and women, who continue to risk their lives to protect the population and prevent the country from collapsing."

Frantz Elbé, invited the police to stick together and unite in the battle, reminding the police officers that defending the population is a duty, recalling that the PNH is a republican and apolitical institution.

The Commander-in-Chief of the PNH reiterated the desire of the police institution to fulfill its mission and invited the population to collaborate with the PNH in accomplishing its mission.
