PNH victory

Victory for the Haitian National Police (PNH) who regained control of the Port of Port-au-Prince after having scared away, injured or killed all the armed looters. Jocelin Villier, Director General of the National Port Authority (APN) confirmed "The port is open. There is no more looting at the Caribbean Port Service (CPS) which is now authorized to carry out other port activities [...] Deliveries will be made as soon as security corridors are established after planning with the PNH and customs."

Jamaica : Haitian Boat People repressed and repatriated

France : VISAS service closed

Les Cayes traffic Reminder from the Town Hall

Les Cayes Town Hall reminds the population of Les Cayes and visitors

That the town hall of Les Cayes, the Public Prosecutor's Office, the police and the delegation have made it obligatory since December 2023 for all those who enter the town, whether to visit or come to stay, to go through the town hall to obtain a permit which allows them to circulate in the city. All people who have just arrived in Les Cayes and are traveling without this permit will have to answer questions from the Public Prosecutor's Office.
