Police officers reportedly in rebellion
According to the executive director of RNDDH, police officers are in rebellion against the High Command of the national police, whose presence has been timid in the streets of the Haitian capital since the events of February 29. Pierre Espérance suggests that this situation results from the complicity of senior executives of the police institution with the bandits who terrorize the population.

2nd evacuation flight
The State Department transported more than 60 U.S. citizens stuck in Haiti to Miami International Airport on Thursday, the second evacuation flight to South Florida this week, as extreme gang violence continues to threaten overthrow the government of the country.

Operation Indravati
India launches the evacuation of its nationals from Haiti hit by violence, 12 evacuated Thursday. Amid the situation prevailing in Haiti, the Indian government launched "Operation Indravati" to evacuate its nationals from the violence-hit country. Foreign Minister Dr S Jaishankar took to social media and said that 12 Indian nationals were evacuated on Thursday. The evacuees were transferred to the neighboring Dominican Republic.

Presidential Transitional Council : Change
Another change to the Presidential Transitional Council (CPT) among the observers. The former electoral advisor, Frinel Joseph, replaces Pierre Jean Raymond André, General Coordinator of the Coordination of Haitian Diaspora Organizations (COODAH). 59 severely disabled orphans in Jamaica
A total of 59 severely disabled orphans, along with 13 caregivers, from Haiti arrived in Jamaica. The group arrived at Errol Flynn Marina in Portland on Thursday and will be hosted at Mustard Seed Communities' newly constructed Ephesus Village, Jacob's Ladder, Moneague. The agreement is initially for a period of two years and funding will be provided by HaitiChildren's various established donors.

Former presidential spokesperson Lucien Jura regains his freedom after being kidnapped from his home in Vivy Michel (commune of Pétion-ville) by armed individuals on Monday March 18, 2024 in the afternoon.
