Friday March 22, 2024, after a night of bloody clashes between units of the National Police and armed individuals who tried to take control of the area, about ten bodies, several of which were charred, were found in the streets of Pétion-ville in particular at Panamerican Avenue and high Delmas 60 and 95 where gang leader Ernst Julmé alias Ti Greg and two of his men were fatally injured the day before by a special police unit.
