Consulate of Haiti in Santiago closed

The Consulate General of Haiti in Santiago in the Dominican Republic informs that on the occasion of the Easter holidays, its doors will be closed on Wednesday March 27 at noon, Thursday March 28 and Friday March 29, 2024. Services will resume on Monday April 1st 2024.

UNICEF : 1.4 million liters of drinking water distributed

UNICEF indicates that it has facilitated access to drinking water for more than 15,851 displaced people. The UN organization claims to have distributed, since February 29, more than 1,384,000 liters of water in 11 sites in Port-au-Prince.

Extended curfew

The Government, in order to restore order and take appropriate measures to regain control of the situation, extends the curfew throughout the West department until Friday March 29, 2024, between 7:00 p.m. and 6:00 a.m. Remember that this measure does not apply to law enforcement officers on duty, firefighters, ambulance drivers, health personnel and duly identified journalists.
