Laurent Lamothe, the Minister of Foreign Affairs extends its warmest congratulations to the new Head of State of Guatemala, the former Army General Otto Perez Molina, who won this Sunday, November 6, the presidential elections in this country with 55% of the vote.

The Chancellor took the opportunity, on behalf of the people and Government of Haiti, to congratulate the people of Guatemala, for the outcome of this peaceful and democratic process, and expresses the will of the Administration Martelly-Conille, to forge fraternal bilateral relations with that state of Central America.
