Haiti - Football : The super goalkeeper Johny Placide, joins the Grenadiers

The Grenadiers can now boast of having a damn good goalkeeper, Johny Placide of Franco-Haitian origin, just responded positively to the call of the Grenadiers.

"At the end of last season, I still had hopes of playing in League 1 and why not... dream of the team of France [...] but I understood that this was no longer necessary to dream. So, I want to live this sporting and human adventure with Haiti."

Last Sunday, Johny Placide 23 [January 29, 1988], named best goalkeeper of League 2 in 2011 at the UNFP trophies, flew to Miami to join the Grenadiers, with whom he will face, twice, Antigua and Barbuda [on November 11 and 15] to try to bring down the leader of the group F of the zone North America during the qualifying for the World Cup 2014.

Johny can rely on Jean-Eudes Maurice (Club de Lens), Kervens Belfort and Jeff Louis (Club du Mans) or even Jean-Jacques Pierre, former captain of FC Nantes, now without a club.

The Grenadiers will have to be at their best to win the next two games that are against Antigua and Barbuda.

Grenadiers ! À l'assaut !

Grenadiers ! To the attack !
