The Government has not resigned
The Council of Ministers recalls and specifies that the Government has not resigned. The penultimate considering of the decree of April 12, 2024 stipulates 'the Prime Minister will present the resignation of his Government following the appointment of a new Prime Minister.'

Cabaret public market 6 dead 2 injured

BRH : Check clearing delay
The Bank of the Republic of Haiti (BRH) notifies financial institutions that the settlement deadline set by Circular 102 of June 1st, 2013 in the context of electronic clearing of checks is temporarily established at 3 Business Days. This measure takes effect from this Monday, April 15, 2024.

USAID helps hospitals
While several hospitals have recently reported worrying shortages of medical supplies, the United States Agency for International Development (USAID-Haiti) has continued to provide oxygen cylinders and fuel for oxygen generators in several public health establishments. Last week, EpiC provided oxygen to 7 critical care hospitals across Haiti in the Ouest, Sud-Est, Sud, Nord, Nord-Ouest and Grand-Anse departments.
