Haiti - Spain : Framework agreement with the University of Cordoba (Córdoba)

The University of Cordoba (UCO) and the Haitian Embassy in Spain have opened a path of collaboration to promote international mobility programs and academic contacts with Haitian universities.

This new path follows a meeting at UCO with a Haitian delegation led by Ambassador Guy Lamothe, accompanied by the first secretary and head of Academic and Scientific Cooperation of the Embassy, Fabienne Dormevil and Father Jean-Germain Latus, priest of the Parish of Our Lady of the Assumption of Montemayor.

Manuel Torralbo Rodríguez, the rector of the UCO, accompanied by the Vice-Rector of Internationalization Luna Santos Roldán and the Director of Internationalization Javier Ávila López, received the Haitian delegation.

A meeting which subsequently allowed the signing of a framework collaboration agreement.

The objective of this agreement is to promote a future international mobility program within the framework of the Erasmus +KA-171 program to develop academic exchanges between UCO and higher education establishments in Haiti.
