Haiti - FLASH : Embassy of Mexico, partial resumption of visa services

As of Monday, May 13, 2024 the Consular Section of the Mexican Embassy in Haiti will partially resume its visa services for users who are waiting for an appointment for a consular interview to obtain a resident visa and have migration authorizations with a "Número Unico de Trámite" (NUT) close to expiry.

Users who have authorizations dating back more than 5 months must contact the consular section by sending a copy of their authorization letter with their NUT to : contactoembhai@sre.gob.mx.

Once received, the consular section will provide by the same means an extraordinary appointment for visa processing depending on availability.

The conditions for obtaining a resident visa with NUT authorization, as well as the application form, are available on the website https://embamex.sre.gob.mx/haiti/index.php/asuntos-consulares/visas/frances

Due to the large number of appointment requests for visas with migration authorization (NUT), short-stay visas (visitors and tourists) are suspended.

Regarding other procedures, places are limited, but new appointment availability is activated periodically via the MICONSULADO system on the site : https://citas.sre.gob.mx
