A total of 5,282 children under the age of 5 were admitted to USAID-supported facilities for treatment of severe acute malnutrition and 8,476 for treatment of moderate acute malnutrition. During the screening sessions, vitamin A was distributed to 178,178 children under five years old. In addition, 106,687 pregnant women received nutritional support, including malnutrition screening.
