Sunday May 26 on the lawn of Park Felix Saint-Victor Ouanaminthe FC faced Real Hope FA in the final of the Special National Championship (CNS) of D1 organized by the Haitian Football Federation (FHF).

In a supercharged atmosphere, a park filled to the brim with excited supporters of the two finalist teams competed for the First Division champion trophy.

In the first period, Woudjoly Minoche opened the scoring at 35'25 for the Ouanaminthais [1-0]. Woodensky Pierre reduced the score for the Capois to 48’12 [1-1].

Returning from the locker room, both teams did their best to break the tie in vain, making the match very tense. At the end of regulation time it was still a tie [1-1] and the two teams had to take a penalty shootout to decide between them. A session won by Real Hope FA [3-2] and which won the Special National Championship (CNS) D1 trophy. Remember that Réal had already qualified for the "Caribbean Cup", a qualifying competition for the Champions League of the Confederation of North, Central America and the Caribbean (CONCACAF).

The draw, which will take place on June 6.

These two clubs will represent Haiti in the next edition of the 2024 Concacaf Caribbean Cup to be played between August and December 2024. The tournament qualifies teams for the 2024 CONCACAF Champions Cup and includes the 10 best clubs of the Caribbean.

Furthermore, this same Sunday, Tempête FC and America des Cayes faced each other in a classification match, the aim of which was to win the ticket for the "Caribbean Cup Shield", which will take place in Curaçao next July.

The two highly motivated teams delivered a match that promised to be difficult. In the first period Gregory Moïse opened the scoring in the 14' for America des Cayes [1-0]. The storm throughout this match tried in vain to come back from this score without ever succeeding.

At the end of the regulation time the storm lost [1-0] against America des Cayes which qualified for the "Caribbean Cup Shield".
