Haiti - Diplomacy : Strengthening bilateral relations with the Dominican Rep.

Tuesday, June 11, 2024, Presidential Advisors Smith Augustin and Leslie Voltaire, participated in a breakfast offered in their honor by the Ambassador of the Dominican Republic to Haiti, Faruk Miguel.

This breakfast, which took place in a warm and constructive atmosphere, aimed to revitalize and strengthen bilateral relations between the two Nations of the island.

During this meeting, discussions focused on various topics of common interest.

Both sides expressed their willingness to collaborate closely in key areas such as trade, education, border security and culture. Concrete initiatives were also considered to promote mutually beneficial development and strengthened cooperation.

For his part, Ambassador Miguel reiterated his country's commitment to working in partnership with Haiti to address common challenges and jointly seize growth opportunities.

This meeting marks a significant step in the consolidation of existing diplomatic relations, paving the way for a promising future for both Haiti and the Dominican Republic.
