PNH : Death of ID Antoine Joachim Wednesday June 12, 2024, Divisional Inspector (ID) Antoine Joachim died. He had been unwell the last few days. Inspector Joachim particularly marked his time at the head of the traffic services of the Policie Nationale d'Haïti (PNH) in the commune of Tabarre. The National Union of Haitian Police Officers (SYNAPOHA) welcomes the departure of a hard worker, a true icon of the police institution. Condolences from the American Ambassador "Ambassador Dennis Hankins and the United States Embassy extend their deepest condolences to the Tactical Anti-Gang Unit (UTAG), the family and friends of the deceased officers, as well as all members of the National Police of Haiti (PNH). After Lynnzee Brown in artistic gymnastics, it is Christopher Borzor who will represent Haiti in athletics, a specialist in 100, 200 and 400 meters. The Olympic Games will be held from Friday July 26 to Sunday August 11, 2024. The names of several Haitian athletes still need to be confirmed, whether in taekwondo, judo, boxing, aquatic sports, etc... HIV/TB : 92% of treatment sites are working 37 of the 40 HIV and tuberculosis treatment sites remain functional in the 6 communes of Port-au-Prince, but some are experiencing difficulties in supplying medicines. Psychosocial activities for displaced children During this week, the Center for Peasant Animation and Community Action (CAPAC HaitiI), in Partnership with Plan International Haiti, carried out a series of psychosocial and recreational activities for 215 children including 113 girls and 102 boys at through child-friendly spaces (EAE). These activities are carried out in two displaced sites in Port-au-Prince: Lycée des Jeunes Filles and Lycée Marie Jeanne as part of the implementation of the project : Response to children most affected by armed clashes in Port-au-Prince.
