2,232 people displaced in a school
US Ambassador Dennis Hankins visited a school where 2,232 displaced people reside. He noted how the United States Agency for International Development (USAID-Haiti) supports displaced people. USAID has provided more than $105 million in 2024 to support vulnerable populations affected by rising violence in Port-au-Prince and across Haiti.

New head at the DPC
Emmanuel Pierre was installed as Director of Civil Protection according to an Order published in the official newspaper "Le Moniteur" special number #29. He replaces Jerry Chandler in this position.

The fight against corruption a priority
