iciHaiti - Cap-Haitien : Preliminary work for summer activities
In anticipation of the many summer activities in Cap-Haitien, development and sanitation work is underway or will be carried out, among others on the city's boulevard (asphalting, sidewalks and the channeling of the road bordering the coastline) informed Deputy Mayor Patrick Almonor.

"The cost of this work amounts to nearly 200 million gourdes and must be carried out from the airport crossroads to street 5." Sanitation work will also be carried out in several arteries of the city.

Furthermore, in order to coordinate and synchronize all the cultural events planned during the summer period (August / September 2024) in Cap-Haitien, and guarantee better security coordination, the Communication Office of the Town Hall of Cap-Haitien informs following provisions :

- Any event, whether public or private, must be registered with the Town Hall, at the Social, Cultural and Tourist Action Service ;

- The organizers are required to submit a request for authorization, written or oral, to the Roads Department, if the event must take place outdoors on public roads ;

With this authorization, cultural organizers, accompanied by their certificate, can request security support from the National Police. In addition, institutions and organizations wishing to participate in the summer fair from August 13 to 15, 2024 are asked to also register with the Town Hall today.

All registered events will be published on the official Town Hall website, thus providing additional visibility to their organizers.

For further information, please contact the Communications Office of Cap-Haitien Town Hall.
