Haiti - Diaspora : 18th edition of the Haiti en Folie Festival

The 18th edition of the Festival Haïti en Folie, the largest musical event outside of Haiti entirely dedicated to Haitian and Caribbean culture, returns to Montreal from July 24 to 28, 2024 with a program richer than ever.

Haïti en Folie offers 5 days of activities with purely Haitian foundations featuring performances by numerous artists including the legendary root and voodoo music groups RAM and Boukman Eksperyans, talented Quebec artists such as Shreez, Shah Frank, William Osias, Wesli, Täbï Yösha as well as the group V.I.B.E. Benders with DJs KidCrayola and IVY.

"When everything falls, culture remains", said Dany Laferrière. It is in this context that we will celebrate with great fanfare Haitian culture which is more alive than ever, despite the chaos plaguing the country. What could be better than having Boukman Eksperyans and RAM to commemorate Haiti's 220 years of independence in style this summer at the 18th Haiti en Folie Festival in Montreal!

• Find the famous 5@7 Haiti in Fie with DP Piyou, DJ Kayssy, DJ Sweet La Rock and Baz Konpa at Jardins Gamelin;

• Three online panels with Haitian personalities, discussing important topics related to Haiti;

• The traditional RARA parade, vibrant and colorful;

• A weekend of FREE workshops and events for young and old at Parc Lafontaine;

• The famous culinary fair presented by SAQ.

"It is under the sign of voodoo, discovery and sharing that I invite the population to immerse themselves in the unique and flourishing culture of Haiti in full solidarity with the Haitian community," declared Fabienne Colas, Founding President of the Haiti en Folie Festival.
