Augustin Antoine, the Minister of National Education declared that the official exam period "[...] is an appointment that the whole of society cannot miss, despite all the difficulties [...] The official exams are first the affair of the State, but also the affair of society as a whole. This is why I ask everyone, as far as they are concerned, to stick together so that this operation goes well in the interest of all the candidates."

Meniol Jeune, the Director General of the Ministry, reminded all candidates that they must respect the advice and instructions to avoid problems. He indicated that for the first series of these state exams, the Ministry expects :

183,142 candidates in the 9th fundamental year (including 74,428 in the West department) who will work from Monday 22 to Wednesday 24 July 2024;

2,777 candidates in teacher training schools from Monday July 22 to Friday July 26, 2024;

451 learners in Family Education Centers focusing on life skills, basic skills and professional skills from Monday July 22 to Friday July 26.

Renan Michel, the Director of the National State Examinations Office guarantees that everything is ready for candidates to pass the exams and informs candidates who have had to leave a department due to violence and reside in another department, to quickly present with their forms to the departmental management of the school where they are now for the necessary follow-up, a means for the educational authorities to tell them where necessary to dial.

Kendy Nicolas, Director of Fondamental Education, assures candidates that the exams which meet all the educational criteria will not be difficult, taking into account the quality of the texts proposed by the Ministry, emphasizing that the texts are not comparable to the model available on the Ministry's website.
