Lascaobas : Gang rape and murder of a 13-year-old girl
Marie Françoise Suzan, Minister of the Status of Women and Women's Rights, is outraged by the gang rape followed by the murder of a 13-year-old girl in the town of Lascaobas (Dept. of the Center) and promises to follow this matter closely until the guilty are judged and punished according to law. According to information, it was the victim's stepfather and another individual who committed the rape before murdering the victim. The Ministry of Women's Affairs, through the coordination of the Center Department, will speak urgently with the judicial authorities, to shed light on this matter, so that all the guilty can be judged according to the law.

Security : Joint operations soon
Michel Ange Louis Jeune, Spokesperson for the Haitian National Police (PNH) affirms that 3real operations3 involving the PNH and elements of the Mission led by Kenya will be carried out shortly.

Thomas-Greenfield, impressed
"I was impressed by today's tour of the Multilateral Security Support (MSS) mission’s Life Support Area (LSA). These facilities will serve as a crucial training ground and support hub for MSS personnel, bolstering the Haitian National Police's valiant efforts to restore peace, security, and safety for all Haitians," Linda Thomas-Greenfield, United States Ambassador to the United Nations.

Justice : 340 victims of violence seek compensation
The National Episcopal Commission for Justice and Peace, the Platform of Haitian Human Rights Organizations (POHDH), the National Network for the Defense of Human Rights (RNDDH) and "Nègès Mawon" are some organizations which, in an open letter addressed to the head of Government, demand justice and reparation for victims of gang violence in the country. There are more than 340 victims who have filed complaints for rape, theft, fire and others... A year later, no follow-up has been done at the level of the courts of Croix-des-Bouquets and Port-au-Prince.

FIFA : Haiti advances 5 place in 2 months
After a jump of 4 places (from 90th to 86th) last June, Haiti, in the latest FIFA world rankings of July 2024, our Grenadiers advance one more place and find themselves at 85th rank with a total of 1,274.46 points.
