Migration : MIDAS Computer System in Cap-Haitien

The International Organization for Migration (IOM), in collaboration with the Ministry of the Interior and Territorial Communities and with the support of the U.S. Department of State: Bureau of Population, Refugees, and Migration, has inaugurated the Migration Information and Data Analysis System (MIDAS) office at the port of Cap-Haïtien. This important step will facilitate safer, orderly, and regular migration in Haiti. Swiss Cooperation and DINEPA

Swiss Cooperation in Haiti and the National Directorate of Drinking Water and Sanitation (DINEPA) held their 10th steering committee meeting. Officials from Swiss Cooperation, DINEPA, the Regional Office for Drinking Water and Sanitation (OREPA South) of the Ministry of the Interior and Local Authorities, the municipalities of Jacmel, Marigot, La Vallée, Bainet and the implementing partners Helvetas, GRIDE and EXXSA took part in this meeting. The aim was to discuss the progress of the Local Water and Sanitation Governance Strengthening Program (REGLEAU) and the implementation of the approach to municipal water and sanitation project management.
