Sunrise Airways : More seats on Les Cayes and Cap Haitien flights
The Haitian private airline Sunrise Airways will increase the number of seats on the Port-au-Prince/Les Cayes and Port-au-Prince/Cap Haitien flights. 150 seats per day on Cap Haitien and 90 seats per day on Cayes, 3 times a week.

The leader of the National Awakening Party for the sovereignty of Haiti, Jeantel Joseph, announces for Sunday, August 11, a day of demonstration in the streets of the capital against the power in place.

30th edition of Livres en Folie
Thursday, August 15, the 30th edition of Livres en Folie will take place at the Karibe Hotel. More than 165 authors will be signing at this annual event. 1,079 books on Haiti or written by Haitian authors await you at Livres en Folie.

Evocation of a 40,000-seat stadium:
Friday, August 9, 2024, the President of the Transitional Council Edgard Leblanc Fils the "Toup Pou Yo" Foundation represented by Pierre Paul Patrice Dumont, Guy Allen, Frantz Exil, Marina Gourgue, Daniel Elie, Reynold Guerrier and Hans Vilfort, with a view to partnerships concerning a project to build sports infrastructure, in particular that of a modern 40,000-seat stadium (project led by former senator Patrice Dumond). President Leblanc has undertaken to present this initiative to the other members of the CPT and to Prime Minister Conille.

Up to 10% of civil servants have left Haiti
Between 8,000 (7.7%) and 10,000 (9.7%) civil servants in the public administration have left the country. The State has difficulty obtaining an exact figure on their number. Prime Minister Conille says he is waiting for an initial diagnosis of the human resources workforce in order to launch a massive recruitment of young socio-professional women and men, to renew the Haitian administrative staff on the basis of merit in order to fill and rejuvenate the public administration. Our Grenadières lose their classification match and find themselves last
As part of League A of the U-15 women's championship of the Champions League of the Confederation of North, Central America and the Caribbean (CONCACAF), our Grenadières for the final classification match faced Puerto Rico on field 2 of the Alajuelense club training center. For this 4th and final match our Grenadières experienced defeat for the 4th time [1-0] on a shot by L. Franco at the 50th minute.
