Laurent Lamothe, the Foreign Minister, presents, on behalf of the Government of the Republic of Haiti, his warm congratulations to the new Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Spain, Mariano Rajoy, following his electoral victory, obtained with an absolute majority.

This election reflects unequivocally the high confidence of voters in the new Spanish Government.

The Chancellor Laurent Lamothe expresses in this circumstance, his wish for success to the new Prime Minister and to the Spanish people and promises, to continue in the friendship, solidarity and brotherhood the bilateral cooperation that unites the two countries.
