A policewoman shot dead

On Wednesday, August 28, 2024, policewoman Michelle Nathanielle Megine, from the 28th class, was killed at the wheel of her vehicle by a heavily armed individual while she was on her way to work in Delmas 75. 13 bullet holes in the victim's windshield were noted.

Handover of interoperable radio communication devices to the PNH

Double or triple corn production

Agronomists Gaël Pressoir, dean of the faculty of agronomy at Quisqueya University (UniQ) and Jean Luc Saint Pierre, head of Promodev, are convinced that Haiti, which produces nearly 300,000 tons/year of corn, can double and even triple this production by having quality seeds, using fertilizers and taking into account the type of soil, and make corn "one of the country's main sources of food" again.
