Haiti remains an important trading partner for the Dominican Republic, but now ranks between January and July 2024, as its fourth largest market, behind Switzerland ($424.13 million), the United States ($413.98 million) and India ($315.3 million). . In a broader context, total exports of the Dominican Republic's national regime totaled $2.2 billion (2,264) between January and July 2024, representing a decrease of $26.57 million (1.16% compared to the previous year.
