Haiti - FLASH Canada : How to avoid being a victim of immigration scams
"If it sounds too good to be true, it probably a scam," says the Government of Canada.

What you need to know :
Be aware that no one can guarantee you a job or a visa in Canada.

Only immigration officers in Canada and at Canadian embassies, high commissions and consulates can decide to issue a visa.

The processing fees are the same for all our services in Canada and around the world.

Fees in local currencies are set using official exchange rates. The amount is the same as in Canadian dollars.

Be careful :
If the website you are visiting claims to offer good deals to people who want to immigrate, be careful. Do not pay for guaranteed entry to Canada or for faster processing of your application. These are fake offers.

Be careful if the salary of a job you want to get seems too good to be true.

Before paying for the services of a supposed recruiter, the best way to protect yourself is to verify that the job offer is genuine

To verify, send an email to :VerifyeVizaTravayCanada@international.gc.ca

Recommendations :
Never deposit money into a personal bank account;

Never transfer funds through a private money transfer service;

Canada employees
- Will never threaten you;
- Will never offer discounts to people wanting to immigrate to Canada;
- Will never use free email services like Hotmail, Gmail or Yahoo to communicate with you.
