Haiti - FLASH : Formal denial from Advisor Leslie Voltaire
The Communications Office of Presidential Advisor Leslie Voltaire wishes to formally deny the totally unfounded rumors claiming that he took advantage of the visit of the President of the Republic of Kenya William Ruto to leave the country on board the latter's plane, bound for New York for personal reasons.

The truth is this: "there was never any question of two delegations. Advisors Edgard Leblanc and Leslie Voltaire were part of the one and only official delegation to represent Haiti at the 79th session of the United Nations General Assembly. Following last-minute unforeseen circumstances, the President of the CPT, Mr. Leblanc, held a press briefing at Toussaint Louverture Airport, before the departure of the Kenyan President, in order to clearly explain to the media the reasons for the cancellation of his own trip and expressly asked Counselor Leslie Voltaire to represent the CPT by accompanying the President of Kenya to New York to participate in the 79th session of the United Nations General Assembly.

The Communication Office calls on the population to be extremely vigilant in the face of the dangers posed by this campaign of disinformation and manipulation, fueled by the spread of false information on social networks."
