Several officers from the Anti-Gang Tactical Unit (UTAG) and the Departmental Operations and Intervention Brigade (BOID) were deployed in the locality of Pont-Sondé (commune of "Saint-Marc"), with the aim of restoring confidence in the population and countering the acts that bandits seek to commit against the population.

As part of this deployment, the police are increasing their patrols and establishing fixed checkpoints to prevent bandits from leaving Pont-Sondé to reach Saint-Marc.

The population took to the streets of the commune of Verettes to applaud the work carried out by the Police, in particular the UTAG and BOID officers who continue to brave danger to ensure the safety of the population.
