Haiti - Technology : DIGICEL / NATCOM mobile internet quality tests (CONATEL official report) 08/10/2024 10:23:35
The measurements were carried out on both networks (Natcom and Digicel) in the same geographical location, targeting very dense areas such as : urban centers, commercial activity centers, highways; and other dense areas: Hotels, restaurants and public buildings. The preferred aspect at the time of the survey is that of data. Be able to successfully establish an internet connection from a mobile phone (Smartphone) in less than 15 seconds, measure upload and download speeds, and monitor packet delays and losses. The tests were carried out with Samsung mobile phones model : Galaxy Note 9, Samsung Galaxy S20, Samsung Galaxy A02s. The Speed Check Expert software was used to monitor the throughput and capacity of the downlink (download) and uplink (upload) at the time of measurement.
