The total amount of the 2024-2025 budget is 323.445 billion Gourdes, an increase of more than 20% compared to the previous budget.

Revenues come mainly from domestic resources (taxes, duties) but also from financing by treasury bonds and other internal financing for a little over 28 billion. The State also relies on 75.1 billion Gourdes, in the form of project aid and donations from international partners.

On the podium of the largest budget envelopes we find:

#1 Ministry of National Education: more than 42 billion Gourdes (page 37, increase of 24%)

#2 Ministry of Public Works: more than 39 billion (page 35 increase of 56%)

#3 Ministry of Justice: more than 36 billion (page 36 increase of 35%

Other important sectors such as defense have an envelope of more than 8 billion Gourdes (Page 37 increase of 256%), the largest increase in this budget, followed by the Ministry of Planning and External Cooperation which with a budget of more than 6 billion (page 35 benefits from an increase of 160%).
