Football NOTICE : Detection course
The Secretariat of the Haitian Football Federation informs the Presidents and Secretaries General of the various Football Clubs and Schools of the organization of a detection course on October 17-18 and 19, 2024 starting at 8:00 a.m. on the Saint-Louis de Gonzague field located at 3 Delmas 31. This course, which concerns young people born in 2008, is organized with a view to training the U-17 National Selection which must represent the country in the qualifiers in 2025.

Chancellor Dupuy launches a vibrant appeal for help (Video)
On Monday, October 14, 2024, Dominique Dupuy, Haiti's Minister of Foreign Affairs, took part in the 220th session of the UNESCO Executive Council in France. In her speech, she launched a vibrant appeal for help in the face of the disasters that Haiti is going through. "In my home, every night is a lottery of carnage where life is constantly being lost," declared the Chancellor. "I implore you to no longer look away from my country. Doing nothing would make you, like me, accomplices in the unacceptable, co-authors of a new 'never again'."



32 Haitians intercepted at sea
The Royal Turks and Caicos Islands Police informs that the crew of the Coast Guard cutter "Sea Pursuit" intercepted a small overloaded boat carrying 32 Haitians in an irregular migratory situation (30 men and 2 women) off Bird Rock, Leeward Settlement, Providenciales. The Haitians were handed over to the immigration service for processing. This is the 15th interception this year for a total of 1,142 Haitians (947 men, 195 women including 24 children).

Inauguration of an ONI office in Paris
A delegation from the National Identification Office (ONI), composed of Director General Reynold Guerrier, Administrator Harold Bien Aimé, Technical Director Raynaldo Camilus, is on an official trip to France for the inauguration of an ONI office at the Consulate General of Haiti in Paris.

Dom. Rep. : Embassy of Haiti closed
The Embassy of Haiti in the Dominican Republic reminds the Haitian community in particular that on the occasion of the commemoration of the death of Emperor Jean-Jacques Dessalines, the Mission will close its doors on Thursday, October 17, 2024. Activities will resume at the usual time, on Friday, October 18, 2024.
