Haiti - Education : A group of Haitian students and teachers soon in Cuba 01/11/2024 10:31:17 It should be noted that the intensive course is part of the CUBAYITI research program, "National Constructions and Anthropology (from Cuba and Haiti)", which brings together Haitian researchers from the LADIREP laboratory, Cuban researchers from the "Instituto Cubano de Antropología" and the "Instituto Cubano de Investigación Cultural Juan Marinello", as well as French researchers from the Migrations and Societies Research Unit (URMIS), IRD / CNRS / Université Paris Cité / Université Côte d’azur). Students of the Haitian delegation : Patenska Nahemie PIERRE SAINT (Faculty of Ethnology); Dahana DERVIL (Faculty of Ethnology); Shelton SAINTYL (École Normale Supérieure); Islande SAINT-PHILIPPE (École Normale Supérieure); Immacula TILUS (Faculty of Ethnology); James ORIENTUS (Institute of African Studies and Research). They will all have the opportunity to present their research projects. Professors of the delegation : Jean Waddimir GUSTINVIL Director of LADIREP; Jhon Picard BYRON member of LADIREP; Carole SASSINE member; Marc Félix CIVIL, member; Jean Mozart FERON. Organized on the theme "National identities and endogenous alterities: an approach based on the epistemologies of the "Souths", this course will bring together students and professors from all over the world.
