Haiti - FLASH : Appointment of the new Transitional Government (list) 16/11/2024 07:28:20
Friday, November 15, 2024, Prime Minister Alix Didier Fils Aimé unveiled his transitional government. 18 ministers and a Secretary for Local Authorities were appointed. 10 new ministers and 8 reappointed. 4 women (22%) and 14 men. It should be remembered that the Conille Government (less expensive) included 14 ministers, including 4 women (28.4%) ORDER APPOINTING THE MEMBERS OF THE MINISTERIAL CABINET ALIX DIDIER FILS AIMÉ PRIME MINISTER : "Having regard to the Constitution of the Republic ; Having regard to the Decree of May 17, 2005 on the organization of the Central Administration of the State ; Having regard to the Decree of 17 May 2005 revising the General Civil Service Regulations ; Having regard to the Decree of 10 April 2024 establishing the Presidential Transitional Council ; Having regard to the Decree of 23 May 2024 determining the organisation and operating mode of the Presidential Transitional Council ; Having regard to the Order of 16 April 2024 appointing the members of the Presidential Transitional Council ; Having regard to the Order of 8 November 2024 appointing the Prime Minister ; Considering that it is appropriate to appoint the members of the Ministerial Cabinet ; ORDERS : Article 1.- Citizen Paul Antoine BIEN-AIMÉ is appointed Minister of the Interior and Local Authorities ; [new] Citizen Patrick PELISSIER is appointed Minister of Justice and Public Security ; [new] Citizen Jean Harvel Victor JEAN-BAPTISTE is appointed Minister of Foreign Affairs and Worship ; [new] Citizen J.
