Gang : New toll booth
On Tuesday, November 26, according to local residents, heavily armed bandits set up a new toll booth at Carrefour Marin near the ONA premises to extort money from each vehicle, private or public transport, for a right of way.

Famine-like conditions
Violence and security problems have restricted access to aid, caused a spike in prices and prevented families from having access to nutritious food and drinking water. As a result, hunger levels have skyrocketed across Haiti, particularly in the metropolitan area, with 1 in 6 children now on the brink of starvation-like conditions.

France : Embassy of Haiti, important working meeting
The Embassy of Haiti in France held an important working meeting on Wednesday, November 27, 2024, with a delegation from the Circle of French Elected Officials of Haitian Origin (CEFORD). Discussions focused on the association’s participation in strengthening bilateral cooperation between Haiti and France.

Riyadh : Haiti will participate in COP16
Haiti will participate in the 16th Conference of the Parties (COP16) of the United Nations Convention to Combat Desertification in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, from December 2 to 13. The Ministry plans to urge the Parties to mobilize financial and technical resources for the implementation of priority actions, particularly in the most vulnerable countries.
