"Haiti must have a war budget"
Presidential advisor Fritz Alphonse Jean believes that "Haiti must have a war budget" to restore the security climate. 1,712 Haitians deported in 4 days
The General Directorate of Migration (DGM), informs that between Monday, November 25 and Thursday, November 28, 2024, 1,712 Haitians (920 men, 438 women and 354 minors), in an irregular migratory situation were deported in 4 days by Dajabón. The arrests of the Haitians took place in different communities in the provinces of Valverde, Santiago Rodríguez, Dajabón and Montecristi. The DGM specifies that all the minors were deported with their parents.

Towards the reopening of MSF services
