Violence threatens progress against HIV
Despite the progress made in the fight against HIV, thousands of Haitians remain trapped in a devastating health and security crisis. The incessant violence and widespread insecurity make access to care almost impossible, worsening suffering and threatening hard-won progress. Every day, lives are lost, not because of a lack of treatment, but because it is too risky to reach a health center or obtain life-saving care.
