Violence in IDP camps in Port-au-Prince remains an alarming problem, particularly in a context where vulnerable populations are already deprived of their fundamental rights. This violence, whether physical, psychological or sexual, affects thousands of people forced to live in precarious conditions. These briquettes help significantly reduce tree cutting for fuel, prevent deforestation in innovative ways, and preserve soil and water quality.
