Haiti - Health : Message from the First Lady of the Republic of Haiti 01/12/2011 14:33:10
On this occasion, several activities are organized in the metropolitan area to educate the public on precautions to take to prevent this epidemic. The First Lady of the Republic salutes the courage and contributions of national and international organizations involved in the eradication of this scourge. he First Lady, who is committed to the head of the Multisectoral Coordination Committe of projects of Global Fund in Haiti (CCM-Haiti) to fight against AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria, is determined to become more involved in this struggle. Recognizing the level of vulnerability of the Haitian population, Sophia Martelly will take all necessary measures, alongside the President of the Republic, to reduce significantly over the five-year the number of deaths from the disease in Haiti.
