NOTICE : Legalization service deadline
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs informs users of the legalization service in particular, that the processing and delivery time of documents is now two working days. Documents are delivered from 9:00 a.m. To this end, users can go to the document reception service to submit their legalization request, with the legalization stamp and the cash receipt from the General Directorate of Taxes (DGI), without having to resort to the service of intermediaries,

Free legal assistance
On Friday, January 31, 2025, Patrick Pélissier, Minister of Justice chaired his first meeting of the Board of Directors of the National Council for Legal Assistance (CNAL). The objective of this meeting was to launch a set of actions by the Ministry in favor of free access to a lawyer for people who are unable to pay for such services, as well as vulnerable people. A legal assistance fund is being created. The Minister has set up an agenda to ensure the operationalization of the 12 Legal Assistance Offices (BAL) spread across the country.

The national Socca team trains
On Friday, January 31, 2025, nearly thirty players from the national Socca team, including former players selected for the Socca World Cup in Oman, took part in a training session at Sainte-Thérèse Park in Pétion-Ville. The selection is preparing for 4 confirmed competitions including a tournament in Belgium at the end of March 2025.

Taiwan : More than 40 scholarships
As part of the strengthening of relations between Taiwan and Haiti, the number of scholarships awarded to young Haitians has been increased this year from 20 to more than 40 according to Niola Lynn Sarah Devalis Octavius, Minister of Youth. New DG at the Office of Citizen Protection
Me Jean Wilner Morin, the Citizen Protector, proceeded this week to the installation of Me Jude Jean Pierre as the new Director General of the Office of Citizen Protection (OPC).

MEF : 3 new Deputy Directors General
Alfred Fils Métellus, the Minister of Economy and Finance (MEF) recently installed 3 new Deputy Directors General: Rose Lourdes J.J. Elysée, Deputy Director General in charge of promoting public-private partnerships; Charles Ernest Chatelier, Deputy Director General responsible for Treasury management and Marc-Kenley Mogène, Deputy Director General at the General Directorate of the Budget.
