WHO : Health situation and urgent needs

Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, Director-General of the World Health Organization (WHO), met with Sinal Bertrand, Minister of Public Health of Haiti, to discuss the health situation and urgent needs in the country, due to persistent insecurity and limited access to health care. WHO will continue to support the provision of essential care and vaccination, to strengthen efforts to combat noncommunicable diseases and to provide mental health support.

Drug trafficking and consumption in Haiti

Official meeting this week at the Embassy of Chile between Ambassador Manuel Rioseco and Karl-Henry Périclès, Coordinator of the National Commission for the Fight against Drugs (CONALD). The issue was notably the technical support of the Embassy of Chile to contribute to the development of the internal program of CONALD in order to reduce the possibilities of trafficking and drug consumption in Haiti.

Pèlerin 2 : Road rehabilitation works

The Ministry of Public Works informs that rehabilitation works and laying of bituminous concrete (asphalt) are underway at Pèlerin 2. This work is being carried out under the supervision of the Departmental Directorate of the West (DDO), which ensures their implementation and supervision.

Declarations of assets of public officials

For three years, the ULCC has multiplied innovative strategies in order to strengthen transparency and public trust by creating a unique space that facilitates, in a single day, the filing of declarations of assets of public officials. All the stakeholders concerned, namely notaries, clerks and public prosecutors, will be in the ULCC premises throughout the day of Wednesday, February 12, 2025 to receive the personalities subject to the mandatory formality of declaration of assets.
