Haiti - Politic : The law of budget a government priority

Yesterday Ralph Ricardo Théano, the Minister Delegate to the Prime Minister for Relations with Parliament said that the finance law (the law of budget) is a priority for the government and that discussions are ongoing with the Senate and the Chamber of Deputies in view to make things to move forward in January.
"...actually we started to build the menu identifying projects, bills, and there are three phases in this matter. We started to identify the bills, these are projects submitted by the government and we have prepared a form for civil society if it has pre-bills that it wants to submit, it can and it will enter into discussion with the relevant ministry. And then there are the laws that Parliament, senators and deputies wish to submit for appreciation at the level of both chambers.
We started discussions with the Secretary General of the Senate, the Assistant Secretary of the Senate and the Secretary General of the Chamber of Deputies, for information there was a meeting held Tuesday together with a consultant to the Office of the Prime Minister so we have established a schedule of activities (activities chronogram), I can tell you already that naturally the two laws that will be a priority for us are, firstly the Finance Act, that is to say the law of budget, what we call amending budget, and then we have other laws that are a priority as the law for the disabled, and then there is the law of the Interim Commission for the Reconstruction of Haiti (IHRC)..."
"...we believe, that during the recent crisis there has been quite fruitful exchanges with the various blocks in the Senate, we discussed, and both parties have favored the relationship which somehow will enable the country to ensure at least a growth over the next 6 months and in addition we believe that we will continue the dialogue at the level of Chamber of Deputies, we are talking with the various blocks to ensure that in January things are going well..."
