24,155 displaced in 3 weeks Since February 14, armed violence, which has affected several neighborhoods in Port-au-Prince (Delmas 19, 30, Carrefour-Feuilles, Cargo, Tabarre 27 among others) has caused the displacement of 24,155 people, worsening an already critical humanitarian situation. According to the International Organization for Migration (IOM), 12,000 people have been able to be housed with relatives (50% in the capital), while the other half have been forced to settle in 34 accommodation sites, including 7 new sites opened due to the large flow of displaced people fleeing armed violence.
