Negotiations to recover the body of the Kenyan police officer

Violence must no longer be the norm
Violence must no longer be the norm. Restoring peace by rebuilding social cohesion through dialogue in communities like Tabarre is a priority. The survival of 30,000 people depends on aid
Every month, more than 30,000 people depend on access to clean water, sanitation, and hygiene services to survive in displacement sites and communities in Haiti. Providing vital support to families fleeing the United Nations CERF, IOM can continue to assist the most vulnerable.

Recruitment of Nursing Graduates
The Ministry of Public Health announces the recruitment and appointment of the 70 national graduates of the state nursing exams (2023-2024 exams) for obtaining a license to practice. This decision aims to integrate the best trained talents in the field into the public health network, in order to ensure quality care for the population. The graduates concerned are invited to follow the guidelines of the Nursing Directorate (DSI) in monitoring this process. Thus, the Ministry values ​​academic and professional excellence as a fundamental pillar in strengthening our health system.

Nationalist March, Haitians Spared
With flags in hand and placards with messages rejecting Haitian immigrants, the march of several hundred nationalists from the Old Dominican Order fulfilled its mission and marched 1 km in the community of Friusa (permitted route). Arrest : Prison Escapee Arrested by the Southeast Police
Actively wanted by the police, Brutus Simson, an escapee from the National Penitentiary, was arrested on the night of March 26-27, 2025, in the communal section of Fond Jean-Noël, in the commune of Marigot. Brutus Simson had been imprisoned for murder, illegal possession of a firearm, and criminal conspiracy.
