Brazil Visa : CAVB Open
The Brazilian Visa Application Center (CAVB) announces that it has reopened to receive applicants by appointment. All applicants who were unable to submit their application due to the security situation on April 3 and 4, 2025, will be rescheduled to do so in the near future.

Ban on goods in transit in effect

Turgeau : Fonkoze, attacked
An armed attack targeted the premises of the Fonkoze institution, located in Turgeau (near the Sacré-Coeur Church) next to the presbytery, on the night of Sunday, April 6th to Monday, April 7th, 2025. The assailants began setting fire to parts of the premises before fleeing, following the rapid intervention of the police. This situation has caused widespread panic among the priests. However, neither the presbytery nor the chapel were attacked, according to the head of the parish, Father Jasmin Arsène.
