The Delmas 19 DGI has relocated
Due to insecurity, the annex of the Directorate General of Taxes (DGI), located in Delmas 19, has relocated its offices to the Delmas Municipal Palace. The new DGI offices will be operational and open to taxpayers starting Monday, April 14, 2025.

More than 60,000 displaced in one month
In March, persistent armed violence in Port-au-Prince forced more than 60,000 people to flee their homes, marking the largest increase in displacement recorded to date. Attacks in Carrefour-Feuilles, Bas Peu de Chose, Avenue Christophe, Morne-à-Tuf, and the surrounding area displaced thousands of people. Ten displacement sites housing more than 14,000 people were forced to close, forcing affected families to relocate. The violence also spread beyond the capital, displacing more than 6,000 people in the Centre department.

The CPT reaffirms
The CPT reaffirms its solidarity with the Haitian people in the face of the violence. Security remains the priority of the Transition. We call for citizen vigilance and support for law enforcement to restore peace and preserve institutions.

The CEH denounces the failure of the CPT

Cuisine : Haitian Chef Leen Excellent attempts a world record
The Government of Haiti proudly welcomes the remarkable initiative of Leen Excellent, Haitian chef and ambassador of our culinary heritage, who is conducting an unprecedented culinary marathon in France with the aim of registering Haiti in the Book of Guinness World Records. During 192 hours of uninterrupted cooking, Leen Excellent will showcase the flavors of Haiti, preparing our most iconic dishes : national rice, tassot, joumou soup, and tchaka. Through each of these dishes, the soul of a people is expressed, combining memory, resistance, and pride. Already 140 hours in the making, she should reach her goal, if all goes well, on Tuesday, April 5, 2025.

End of Health Week
The first edition of Health Week concluded on Sunday, April 13, 2025. The event took place at the El Rancho Hotel Convention Center on Route de Bourdon. Minister Bertrand Sinal fulfilled his promise. An exhibition, screening, sports demonstrations, distribution of health supplies, and more... All fields and sectors were showcased at this major national health fair.
