Former Citizens' Protector Accused The Anti-Corruption Unit (ULCC) recommends legal proceedings against former Citizens' Protector, Renan Hédouville, and several of his close associates, including his daughter, Régine Hédouville, Mimose Moyard, and Juliana Thomas Supplice. The ULCC accuses Renan Hédouville of misappropriation of public funds, as revealed in the investigation report published on Thursday, May 8, 2025. A Baby Abandoned at the Border On Friday, May 9, 2025, the office of the Institute of Social Welfare and Research (IBESR) in Ouanaminthe reported discovering a baby without its parents on the northern border between Haiti and the Dominican Republic.
