It is with this in mind that the Investment Facilitation Center (CFI) is launching the "Haitian Business Advocate" (HBA) initiative, an ambitious strategy aimed at mobilizing the talents of the Haitian diaspora to raise Haiti's profile in international markets. Why the "Haitian Business Advocate" ? The CFI explains that the country's economic challenges require innovative responses, and because the diaspora constitutes a still under-exploited force in the country's attractiveness. In this context, the HBA becomes a pivotal figure : it acts as a catalyst for trust, visibility, and influence. Through it, an ecosystem of opportunities is being built, in line with the CFI's priorities. The approach is resolutely structured: targeted promotional campaigns, participation in international forums, direct support for investors, and collaboration with embassies and chambers of commerce. The HBA is supported by a clear roadmap, a dynamic support network, and a shared vision between the public and private sectors. Beyond the symbolic, this initiative aims for measurable results : increased investment flows, strengthened business networks, job creation, and an improved image of Haiti as a credible and competitive investment destination. It is part of a long-term approach, with strengthened governance within the CFI's Investment Promotion Department. In short, the HBA is not just a project. It is a strategy of openness, outreach, and collective building. Haiti is giving itself the means to attract, inspire, and convince.
