Fritz Alphonse Jean, the President pro tempore of the Presidential Transitional Council, left the country on Wednesday, June 11, 2025, for Brazil to participate in the Caribbean-Brazil Summit to be held in Brasilia on June 13, 2025. He is accompanied by Ms. Ketleen Florestal, Minister of Planning and External Cooperation; Rachel Coupaud, Ambassador of Haiti to Brazil; Allen Sabinus Henry, Director of his Cabinet; and Louis Marie Daniel Dorsainvil, Special Advisor. This unprecedented summit with CARICOM Heads of State will be partly dedicated to the situation in Haiti. Through this summit, Brazil aims to place Haiti back at the heart of continental concerns. PNH North : Results 309 people were arrested, three firearms, including an assault rifle, 102 rounds of ammunition of various calibers, 165 motorcycles, and 35 vehicles were seized. This is the result of the police operations conducted in the North from May 1st to June 10, 2025. Those arrested are accused of murder, illicit drug trafficking, murder, and armed robbery, according to Harold Jean, the spokesperson for the police in the region. Leslie Voltaire rejects any dialogue with terrorists "I welcome the commitment of the new Secretary General of the Organization of American States (OAS), Albert Ramdin, to a solution to the Haitian crisis. But I want to state firmly : Haiti cannot consider dialogue with terrorists. "Peace cannot be built by making a pact with terrorists. Our duty is to defend the memory of the dead, the dignity of the living, and the hope of young people," declared Leslie Voltaire, Member of the Presidential Transitional Council, in response to Albert Ramdin, the new Secretary General of the Organization of American States (OAS), who suggested a dialogue with the gangs... Green Reintegration of Migrants In Haut-du-Cap and Bande-du-Nord, the Ministry of Agriculture and the International Organization for Migration (IOM) are organizing community dialogues and guided tours on watershed management. With the support of the French Embassy, these efforts promote the green reintegration of migrants while strengthening the environment and local solidarity.
