Paris : Grand Tribute to Frankétienne
On June 16, 2025, under the inspiring vaults of the UNESCO House in Paris, a grandiose tribute will be held to the late Frankétienne, a writer, playwright, painter, committed thinker, and visionary who embodies the quintessence of Haitian and Francophone literary modernity. https://www.haitilibre.com/en/news-44380-haiti-social-national-funeral-of-franketienne-video.html . His abundant work unfolds a fiery language, blending poetry, profound commitment, and metaphysical quest. The originator of spiralism, Frankétienne invented an aesthetic of "ordered chaos," a perpetual movement that transcends forms and breaks down the boundaries between genres, languages, and worlds. On June 16, his words will come back to life. His colors will dance. His voice, carried by others, will traverse space and time.
